Mission Statement:
Our mission is to offer psychological services to currently enrolled UA student-athletes to assist them in the pursuit of their educational and athletic goals.

Services
Student-Athletes can utilize the following services: individual, couple, or group psychotherapy; assessment; resource/referral; topical workshops; consultation; and psychiatric services. The CAPS athletic satellite clinic is open throughout the year. There is a mental health professional on call 24 hours daily seven days a week for emergencies.

Location and Hours:
The CAPS athletic satellite clinic is housed in the Kasser Medical Treatment Center-Athletic Training Room (phone number: 621-4674 or 621-8805) Appointments: The hours of operation at the McKale Arena are Monday through Friday 9a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services may be scheduled by calling 621-8805 (McKale) or 621-3334 (CAPS) or in person. The student-athletes’ athletic trainer may also assist in scheduling an appointment. For the first visit, allow 15 minutes to complete initial paperwork.

Faculty/Staff Consultation:
The counseling staff is available in person or by telephone to assist the faculty or staff with concerns about student-athletes, such as problems in the classroom, change in academic performance, change in athletic performance, or personal issues.
